In 1954 Ray Kroc, a salesman of Multi mixer milkshake machines, learned that brothers Richard (Dick) and Maurice (Mac) McDonald were using eight of his high-tech Multi mixers in their San Bernardino, California, restaurant. He was curious so he went to San Bernardino to take a look at the McDonalds restaurant.

Since 2006, the Mori Sushi Company has, in just over four years, pioneered and dominated the sushi scene in Egypt securing the position at the top of the market. Today Mori Sushi owns thirteen restaurants, one of which is summer seasonal and four of which feature an innovative Grill Menu, offering an even larger variety to its guests and ensuring a leading position in the competitive market.

Creating an Eco- Friendly Operation
In addition to giving back to the community through charities, we also stay aware of the environmental impact of our operations, products and services. We move closer to creating an eco-friendlier business by implementing recycling programs, while raising health and environmental awareness through our menu tidbits and food choices.
Starting with just one restaurant, we were able to, in little over a month, open another smaller restaurant addition in the Sequoia complex of Zamalek. During the next year we have introduced to the market another two restaurants in the key locations of the city. The concept was so well received that by 2010 Mori Sushi opened three more restaurants in prime locations of Cairo, a restaurant in one of the most exclusive towns of the coastal region on Red Sea and three seasonal summer locations.
During 2011 alone we were able to open three more locations in leading areas of uptown Cairo, and in 2012 two additional restaurants in Giza area of Cairo and Alexandria city, the north coast of Egypt. To improve our availability to our guests and to further increase our market segment, we strategically position ourselves in the upper class family housing developments as well as other vital areas of the City.
Mori sushi has brought and continues to bring fresh new ideas to the market. Our innovative business approach and our passion have lead to an average annual growth of 177%, for the last 4 years.
